CEO, Cotswold Industries Inc.
James is the CEO of Cotswold Industries Inc.; a vertically integrated textile manufacturing and marketing company. Cotswold manufactures and distributes apparel component parts, cotton and poly-cotton fabrics, and non-woven substrates to the apparel, industrial, military and home sewing markets.
James’s board appointments include: Central Textiles Inc., Cotswold Industries Inc., Cotswold International Ltd., and Ecom Partners Inc., NextStep Search Inc., & Redwood Holdings Inc. James is an apparel and textile industry consultant and also a member of the Union League Club of New York.
James is a graduate of Denison University with B.A. in Communications.
President, US-Taiwan Business Council
In April 1993, he joined The Center for Security Policy, a defense and foreign policy think tank in Washington, D.C., as the Associate for Development. The Center accomplishes its goals by stimulating and informing national and international policy debates, particularly those involving regional, defense, economic, financial, and technology developments that bear upon the security of the United States.
Mr. Hammond-Chambers began working for the US-Taiwan Business Council in October 1994. In March of 1998, he was promoted to Vice President of the Council with additional responsibilities for office management, oversight of the staff, financial bookkeeping and a clear mandate to build out the Council’s member/client base.
Mr. Hammond-Chambers was elected President of the Council in November 2000. As the trade relationship between the United States, Taiwan and China continues to evolve, he has worked to develop the Council’s role as a strategic partner to its members, with the continuing goal of positioning the Council as a leader in empowering American companies in Asia through value and excellence.
Mr. Hammond-Chambers is also the Managing Director, Taiwan for BowerGroupAsia. He sits on the Advisory Boards of Redwood Partners International, The Sabatier Group and the Pacific Star Fund, is a Trustee of Fettes College and is a member of both the National Committee on United States-China Relations and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Marcelo is also a founding member and partner in NextStep Search Inc.(NSI). NSI is an executive search firm that focuses on middle to senior management searches for companies in both digital & mobile media, as well as traditional media. Prior to starting NextStep, Marcelo co-founded Redwood Partners, a pan-Atlantic integrated advisory firm that brings together executive search, investment advisory and venture capital in one platform servicing emerging technologies. Marcelo was Redwood’s Office Managing Partner in Chicago, addressing all of their mid-western and mid-Atlantic business. Marcelo is an avid runner and completed the 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 New York City Marathons. He is a 1991 graduate of Binghamton University and holds a BA degree in psychology.
